Loose adaptation of the inscriptions found in King
Ashurnasirpal II's palace in Calah, modern-day Nimrūd, Iraq, said to
be written by the king himself. Ashurnasirpal II ruled from 883-859
BCE and the inscriptions detail the first 6 years of his reign.
